Today we are launching the SMS Command Centre, the most significant addition to the Faretext platform since we introduced Oello in 2019. The Command Centre is a self-service management and reporting hub designed to give our customers and reseller partners complete visibility and control over their messaging operations.
What the Command Centre offers
The SMS Command Centre has been built from the ground up based on feedback from our customers. Over the past two years, we have spoken to hundreds of businesses about what they need from their SMS platform, and the same themes kept emerging: better visibility, more control, and faster access to data.
The Command Centre delivers on all three:
- Real-time delivery analytics — monitor message delivery rates, response rates, and campaign performance as they happen, not hours later. Every message is tracked from submission through to delivery confirmation.
- Contact management — import, segment, and manage your contact lists directly within the platform. Create dynamic groups based on customer attributes and engagement history.
- Campaign scheduling — plan and schedule campaigns in advance with precise send-time control. Set up recurring campaigns, define send windows, and manage frequency caps.
- Spend tracking — real-time visibility of message costs and credit usage, with configurable alerts when spend reaches defined thresholds.
- Comprehensive reporting — export detailed delivery reports, engagement metrics, and cost breakdowns for any date range.
Built for customers and resellers
We have designed the Command Centre with two distinct user types in mind. Direct customers get a streamlined view of their own messaging activity, with intuitive dashboards and one-click reporting. Our reseller partners get a multi-tenant view, allowing them to manage multiple client accounts, monitor platform-wide delivery rates, and generate white-label reports for their own customers.
Designed around real feedback
Every feature in the Command Centre was shaped by conversations with our users. The delivery analytics dashboard was the single most requested feature, followed by improved contact management and scheduled sending. We have also incorporated requests for better mobile responsiveness — the Command Centre works fully on tablet and mobile devices, so you can check campaign performance from anywhere.
Security and access control
The Command Centre includes role-based access controls, ensuring that team members only see the data and features relevant to their role. All sessions are protected by secure authentication, and sensitive operations require additional verification. This is part of our broader commitment to platform security and fraud prevention.
How it integrates with existing tools
The Command Centre works alongside our existing REST API and SMPP connections — it does not replace them. If you currently send messages via API, the Command Centre adds a visual layer on top, letting you monitor delivery, manage contacts, and generate reports without writing additional code. For teams using our email-to-SMS gateway, the Command Centre provides the reporting visibility that email-based sending typically lacks.
What comes next
This launch is the beginning, not the end. Over the coming months we will be adding API-triggered reporting, webhook-based delivery callbacks, and enhanced automation tools. We will also be integrating the Command Centre with our upcoming multi-channel capabilities.
